SSC GD 2026 Exam Date Out 

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notice regarding the exam dates for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026. The SSC GD Exam Computer-Based Examination will be conducted from 23rd February 2026 onwards.

SSC GD Constable Eligibility Criteria

How to Apply for the SSC GD 2026 Exam?

  1. Go to the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in.
  2. Once on the homepage, navigate to the “Apply” section and click on the “Apply” link.
  3. If you’re a new user, you need to register yourself.
  4. Please provide the following details: your name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number.
  5. Upon successful registration, you’ll receive a Registration ID and password. Note them down for future use.
  6. Use your Registration ID and password to log in. Find the link for the SSC GD 2026 Exam and click on “Apply”.
  7. Fill in details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, category, gender, nationality, etc.
  8. Enter your educational details such as the name of the school/college, board/university, marks obtained, etc.

SSC GD Constable 2026 Selection Process

The entire recruitment process of SSC GD 2026 will be completed in four stages: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and at the last the Medical Test. The candidates will be shortlisted for SSC GD Constable posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau. through the following stages-

For Computer-Based Examination

The computer-based examination will be of 160 marks consisting of 80 questions. There will be 4 sections in the online exam to be attempted in 60 minutes. 0.25 marks will be deducted when a question is answered wrong. There will be no penalty if the question is left unanswered.
